We’re delighted to announce that we celebrate our 21st birthday this year – with the mind-boggling revelation that we have serviced nearly two million fire alarm devices and installed our technology in 4,000 plus sites worldwide over the past two decades!
Our initial workforce has grown to more than 50 people since our launch in 2002. We’ve seen steady expansion over the years and last year, we were happy to join the Obsequio Group, enabling us to be part of an organisation offering a one stop shop for compliance matters. Drax 360 work alongside sister companies to offer a full 360 service provider specialise in fire, water, energy, security and electrical safety.
Our innovative alarm compliance software enables the integration of multiple systems on complex sites, increasing engineer efficiency and helping clients ensure compliance. It’s the perfect partner for the fire safety services which fellow Obsequio Group company CDS has been offering for more than 30 years.
Our AMX and SafeVue technology includes graphical alarm solutions, which offers centralised fire alarm control, visibility of all devices across multiple sites and remote access via a laptop or other web device.
The AMX graphics package ensures even untrained operators can ascertain the precise location of a fire alarm as well as keeping an audit trail of all fire events to ensure organisations remain fully compliant and our compliance portal SafeVue is a web-based dashboard which enables users to view and manage fire alarm data on any internet-enabled device. Our SmartWatch and more powerful SmartCube connect directly to the fire alarm system, allowing a building operator to manage stock across a campus, a city, the UK or even the world.
Over the last two decades, we’ve built an enviable list of clients across a number of different sectors, including both Oxford and Cambridge Universities, as well as many other higher education institutions across the country, numerous hospitals and health trusts, social landlords and industrial premises.
Drax 360 director Glenn Grant said: “The technology we’ve developed over the past 21 years is proving very effective in protecting some of our country’s – and the world’s – finest and largest institutions, as well as making the business of compliance clear and straightforward.
“Our tools help facilities managers and security teams view, manage and log all fire events easily from afar, enabling them to act swiftly, avoid costly false alarms and remain compliant, which is hugely beneficial logistically and financially – as well as in human terms. We look forward to seeing our technology develop over the next 21 years.”
