Apprentice Business Administrator

Location: Letchworth
Salary: Competitive
Contracted Hours: 37.5 Hours A Week

As a Business Administrator Apprentice at Drax360, you will have the opportunity to develop essential skills and experience while contributing to our success in the fire safety industry. Based in our Letchworth office, this varied role will see you supporting the Service Team with crucial administrative tasks, including managing stock levels, organising invoices, arranging post, and scheduling engineers. You will also assist with diary management, vehicle fleet coordination, and filing and data entry tasks. In addition, you will help ensure smooth operations by checking engineers’ paperwork, handling holiday and sickness records, and booking hotels when needed. Alongside your responsibilities, you will undertake a Government-recognised Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration, starting in January 2025. This fully online learning programme includes live interactive sessions, one-to-one coaching, and networking opportunities, covering vital business topics such as time management, communication skills, compliance, finance, and project management. Small Works Coordinator

Location: Letchworth

As a Small Works Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the coordination of small works projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include converting quotes into actionable jobs, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that both our in-house engineers and external partners are scheduled for work efficiently. You will also be responsible for managing stock control, including purchasing and receiving equipment, and ensuring it is allocated correctly to the relevant jobs. In addition to scheduling and stock management, you will be tasked with tracking engineer visits, generating visit reports, and ensuring that all necessary documentation, including certificates, is accurately completed. Processing invoices and keeping engineers’ diaries up-to-date will also form a core part of your duties, ensuring that every aspect of the job is meticulously organised and accounted for.
